Rod Russell

Rod Russell is a Canadian pianist, singer and music coach who lives in Kelowna, BC. Classically trained, Rod began his career in popular piano while still in his teens. He's played in dance bands, in his own dinner clubs, as well as at large events. He has logged over 1200 performances.

Rod plays and sings a wide variety of music – swing, blues, Latin, ballads, rock n' roll, country and more. HIs favorite music is from what he considers the Golden Era of popular music – the 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s. His concerts are casual and intimate, as if everyone was sitting around his living room. 

Through his international music school, The Russell Academy, he has taught more than 70,000 people his unique way of playing piano. Rod has been seen by millions of people on national television as well as in publications such as Reader's Digest, The London Times, USA Today, The Australian, and more.
